Folley Jazz Series: Digital Iterations

During this round of our Folley Jazz Series project we narrowed down our previous concepts to one to two solid visual directions. Then we were then asked to create 5 more iterations exploring type, color, composition and etc. During the class critique with Chuck Haddix, he mentioned that no one in the Vanguard bunch explored the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra as a big band so for this round I wanted to further explore rendering methods that felt more appropriate then my previous attempt in both color and form. Because the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra is constantly changing members, I decided to keep the musicians anonymous, but distinct them through the body language of playing particular instruments.
