The short film below was created by Wesley Chan while on vacation in Italy and I thought the piece was relevant because it illustrates how one can visually represent themselves using intimate objects. Here's an excerpt from Chan about the project:
"I’ve always been fascinated how human emotion can be portrayed without using people or dialogue.
“These Four Walls” is about daring to explore a world that is bigger than you know. There are a lot of reasons to not do something or not feel something. Those boundaries and walls are put up by ourselves. Once we’re able to step outside of them, we can truly realize the endless possibilities the world has to offer."If you watch the video you should also check out the video on how they managed the visual effects and the music because the means of production really adds to the concept. You'll have to bear through the commercial on the last video, but it's definitely worth a watch.
